I am using a MacBook Pro Mid 2015 Monterey right now, and I just found out that you could only have widgets on your desktop if you're using Sonoma, I would like to know if there are apps that can make me put widgets on my desktop without buying a new MacBook lol.

Not exactly what you are asking but, on macOS Monterey, you can use built-in widgets in the Notification Center: Add and customize widgets in Notification Center on Mac - Apple Support. This means that you'd need to swipe left from the right side of the trackpad to see them.
I often use that feature, but it lacks customisation and other apps.
