Recovering iCloud storage by deleting photos
My cloud storage is full mostly from photos. If I delete photos will I gain that storage back so it can back up what hasn't been available to me?

To gain back iCloud storage in this manner, you must not only delete the photos, but you must also remove them from your “Recently Deleted” folder, meaning they will be permanently deleted.
