Dust under the iPad's screen

I noticed when cleaning my iPad that there was dust under the screen. I assumed it was under the screen protector so I took off the screen protector. It was still under the screen. So I cleaned with with a microfibre cloth. Still there, then I damped the cloth with some distilled water and it was still there. I couldn’t photograph it well but in real life it’s more visible. This iPad has apple care so I’m not sure if I should claim this because the deductible is $39.
