Duplicate contact in group chat in Messages

hello! I recently updated my phone to ios18 and in one of my group chats (had a total of 10 people), my phone duplicated one of my contacts and now I cannot text in that groupchat anymore. On my iPad and my computer I can still text through iMessage but on my iPhone it is SMS and I cannot delete the duplicate contact. Help please!!!

How how do I delete a contact from my guy phone messages in the group chat? I need to delete a contact from my iPhone group chat through my regular messages but my contact has an android. I have tried everything I even deleted phone number from my contacts but the phone number still appears in my group chat , and I am an able to remove it. . how can I delete it? The contact has an Android and does not want to participate in the group chat. Please help.

Group Texting no longer working on iPad Yesterday the OS on my iPad was updated to 17.6.1. Now, group texting is no longer working correctly on my iPad but it does still work on my iPhone. When I looked at my iPhone this morning it displayed the message “Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used for iMessage on a new iPad”. This must have something to do with it. Thank you.

Group texting with a android phone in the chat. Can’t do a group chat with someone that has a android phone. 6 people in the chat, 1 has android phone. All I get is individual texts from the group. I’ve done all the resets. I had the same problem with my IPhone 11, now I got the 14pro max still same problem. What’s up Apple.
