My grandchild is trying to purchase some games that she wants and it won’t let her but she’s trying to play another game and it won’t let her play it because she needs to update it but somethings wrong with the payment method and I’m trying to see how I can get her to download games or upgrade her games without me having to put in my Visa card.

This could be an older device that can’t be updated to more current, or some other issue, and there is a problem with the payment method which will usually mean a discussion with Apple.
One (big) caution with the little ones, too: I’ve helped some older folks that have shared their devices with their own little ones, and gotten their devices damaged or destroyed, had their data and precious memories deleted permanently, had mail messages and conversations gone, their subscriptions cancelled, settings clobbered, and very expensive purchases. Proceed with sharing a device or an Apple Account with backups and great caution.
How can I let my granddaughter update and play her games and download other games that she wants without me having to use the payment method or my Visa card.
