Alien Romulus won’t play on Xbox series X

Just purchased “alien Romulus” and when trying to play following error message pops up “ Incompatible content To play this show try to using an Apple device”. First: I’ve purchased this paid €13.99 so why can’t I watch what I’ve paid for??? Second: if it’s any issue like this why no warning prior purchase such as “this content only plays on Apple devices “?? Third: what is the logic behind this? Brand new movie so if it’s any license issue why is it available on App Store? Very frustrating and very disappointing. Anyone knows how to get refund in these kinda scenarios?

Please contact the iTunes Store staff for assistance with specific purchased movie titles. The buy-titles in the Store and in your Library are supposed to be compatible with the Apple TV app on Xbox as well.


If they can’t help you, then use the ‘Report A Problem’ link in the purchase confirmation email. The form will ask for a reason. Please make clear what the issue was. That will be reviewed.
