Hello, on my iPad when I use YouTube and watch a video, it automatically goes to full screen. The status bar (time, date, battery level) at the top of the screen also won’t go away. Any solutions to this? It only started recently.

Try and restart the iPad to see if the issues are persisting
I have been having this issue as well. I have tried to restart the app, update it multiple times and also restart my device as well multiple times. Deleted the app and brought it back just to keep getting this issue.
i have noticed this happening ever since iPadOS 18.1 was installed.
Does anyone have a solution for this or is the only solution resetting the device? I hope resetting isn’t the solution. It’s just the YouTube app from what I can see, but also when you try and watch YouTube full screen in safari browser.
