Google Maps navigation is not showing on my watch.

Hi, I'm using an iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 18.1 and a Watch Series 10 (GPS) with watchOS 11.1. When I start navigation in Google Maps on my iPhone, the route does not show on my watch. It works fine with Apple Maps. I have given location permission to Maps in the privacy settings.
