I’m using 18.1 but it doesn’t seems to fix the battery drain issue

I see nothing unusual here and would not expect the battery to last longer than the iPhone 13 battery.
Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc are all power hungry apps, especially if you have a 5K cell signal.
Other users may have other opinions.

If you are convinced that your battery is defective, make an appointment at the Apple Store to have the battery checked and tested......but I think the technicians will tell you the same thing that I have said.
I have the same issue. Battery needs to be charged roughly every 24 hours with only about 6 to 8 hours of active screen time.
This is NOT normal or usual at all considering my iPhone 12 pro max would last upwards of 2 days before needing to be plugged in to charge.
Apple needs to sort this out, the last few ios updates have not fixed the battery drain issue at all for me
On the plus side, the battery drain issue on my Apple Watch Ultra 2 has been fixed as it can last me a good 4 days before needing to be charged but my 16 Pro Max is still not getting its advertised battery life of "up to 30 hours of video playback and 100 hours of audio playback"
Yes, exactly I have to charge it everyday doesn’t make sense on what is advertised. Did you set the charge limit? Also did you set the settings to reduce the battery usage? Example those always on display setting
Just normal usage the battery doesn’t last longer than my iPhone 13 Pro Max
but u look at the screen active time is just 4hrs for a day. If u look at the past 10 days the screen active doesn’t even reach 6hrs and I have to charge it daily
