sound issues on a video interview

I have a video interview that sounds like the external mic hasn't worked properly and the sound is just from the camera mic. Unfortunately it's in a noisy environment. I've tried to change the audio settings in Final Cut but I'm struggling to lift the interview to a usable level. Can anyone offer any help?

Unfortunately, I later discovered that my wireless mic was disconnected on Camera A however the person i was intervewing was connected properly. The interviewee’s audio is clean, but my voice sounds distant I’m considering using the audio from Camera B when I’m speaking—then mixing that in to improve overall clarity. I’d try to clean it up in post as much as possible so the quality difference isn’t too jarring. Any thoughts or suggestions on how best to approach this fix? Thanks!

Final Cut Pro Multicam Sound Glitches at Cuts When Using Audio Enhancements or Effects Hey Everyone! When I create a simple multicam clip using 2 camera clips and switch back and forth to each camera angle making cuts, I hear an audio glitch/blip at each cut. I'm only using the audio from one of the clips, which has the audio enhancements applied (like voice isolation and noise reduction), and simply switch back and forth to make my video cuts for each camera angle. When played in the timeline (or downloaded), there's an obvious audio blip at each cut. When I remove noise reduction, it sounds fine. I can apply audio enhancements like voice isolation or loudness, but as soon as I add noise reduction or hum reduction, the blips can be heard at each cut. I've tried applying the audio enhancements before making the multicam clip, OR applying audio enhancements in the angle editor on the specific clip (and disabling the other clip's audio), OR applying audio enhancements to the clips in the timeline, but it all sounds the same with the blips. The two clips are using the same audio sample rate, same frame rate, etc. They sync perfectly in the multicam clip. Has anyone else noticed this?

Microphone faulty when filming on Camera app I have an iPhone 11. Whenever I film anything using the Camera app, the audio is really bad, like it’s inside a pocket, or something like that and it randomly sounds normal again for 2 seconds then goes back to sounding awful. I can barely hear anything in my videos. The thing is, this doesn’t happen with any other app. Filming on Instagram works perfectly fine and audio is clear, same for voice memos, phone calls etc. Someone on Reddit had the same problem for a different model and suggested to turn off “Record stereo sound” in settings, but this didn’t help me as audio still cuts off randomly during filming. I don’t have an Apple store anywhere near me, so that’s not an option. As for restarting the phone, it has been restarted multiple times since I have this problem and it’s been the same. I have one software update waiting but there have been multiple of those too since I’ve had this issue and none of them fixed it. Any suggestions?
