Billed 2.99 for iPad 2.99 for ipad I only want I cloud storage on iPhone not I pad

im charged 2.99 a month for iCloud storage on my iPhone and then also charged 2.99 for I cloud storage on my I pad is this correct????

iCloud storage plans are automatically available to all of your devices that are using the same Apple ID for iCloud. If you upgrade your iCloud storage you aren't billed per device.

You should only be paying $2.99 once unless you have more than one Apple ID and upgraded the storage for each Apple ID.
