How to turn off roaming for voice but keep roaming for data on, on iOS18?

I am asking because my wireless service provider (Free.fr in France) allows me 35Go for a few countries in Latin America but using by mistake would cost me an astronomical price. Another option would be to just turn off voice while keeping cellular data but cannot figure out how to do it.

My Mobile Data setting does not have Roaming Off button on my iPhone 16 Pro (My Carrier in Australia is Optus) My Mobile Data setting appears and confirms which SIM I am using (Primary) but no longer has an option to turn off Roaming. There is also no option to choose 4G/5G etc. The same is happening on my wife's 16e iPhone. These options were present before now. I do not want to find that even though the Australian SIM Card is turned OFF (but not removed) that I return home to find that it has somehow been reactivated and I have Roaming charges to pay.

Roaming Technical Support I have an Iphone 14 Pro Plus and have an international calling plan. I am currently out of the country but my plan will not work because there is no cellular data roaming button to toggle on anywhere. How do I turn on roaming?

Roaming is a carrier service, ask them if they allow this.
