icloud mail showing account error: icloud

been happening for atleast a month now, my icloud email is not receiving any emails, and it says towards the bottom of my screen “account error: icloud”, then clicking on details it just says “cannot get mail - the connection to the server failed”. any ways to get my icloud mail back ??

Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, turn off Mail, restart your iPhone and turn Mail back on.

Sorry, no, you have to do it on your device. Ask your parents to temporarily disable parental control.

is there a way to do this via icloud.com? i cant access iCloud due to being 16. if not how can my parents allow me access to icloud?
