Since the new update to 18.1, I struggle with the big keyboard for emojis. It slows down my experience and to be honest it’s easier to just type :) than to search through the now looooong list of emojis. I just want to adjust it - why did apple do that and more importantly, why can’t I adjust it in the settings :(

It's so terrible! I try to find a simple smiley emoji and all of a sudden I have 100 boar Memojis. How could the mess this up so badly and not have the option to turn off this feature? Please apple fix this ASAP.

As your iPhone 12 mini could be four years old, it's worth checking for a weak, aging battery which would cause that. So...
Does your iPhone 12 mini still have its original battery?
And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

Yep, I hate it, 4 rows instead of 5 rows, it’s completely unnecessary, and also my work phone is older and can’t have ios18 so still has 4 rows which makes it even more annoying as I’ll never get used to it
