Adding End Notes in Pages

I'm trying to add End Notes to a book manuscript. When I go to the "Insert" options, Footnotes (not what I want to do) is accessible, but End Notes is grayed out. I've searched the internet and found the plug in I could buy. They also offer a 30 free trial. I have tried to set up the free trial version (which also asks for a credit card) four times to no avail.

Is there no other option to add End Notes?

Don't purchase any plug-in for Pages. The Insert menu > Endnote Citations will not be active without a compatible, paid version of Clarivate's EndNote application and Apple's free Pages EndNote Plug-in v3.3. The later requires EndNote running before launching Pages and then the EndNote Citations menu item wiill be active.

However, without EndNote or Apple's EndNote Plug-in above, after you insert a footnote, you select it at the bottom of the page and in the right panel, you will see a Footnotes tab. Click that and you have a choice of a Footnote, Document Endnotes, or Section Endnotes.
