Notes vanished after new icloud agreement!

My important medical notes disappeared, after agreeing to new icloud terms and conditions. Unfortunately, my icloud storage is full, even though my notes were synced into cloud.

I checked my icloud, but the notes I had on my phone until yesterday before agreeing to the update was not there.

Now, my phone has the same notes as it is in icloud, I lost 4 months of my important medical notes. I haven't agreed to the terms, if it causes me this loss.

Please kindly help me to revert my notes back to how it was before this new icloud agreement.

Any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Try This

Open the Settings app.

Tap on your name at the top (aka your Apple Account settings).

Tap on iCloud.

Tap on Notes.

Turn on "Sync this iPhone" (green = on). If it is already on, turn it off and on again.

In the Notes app, wait several minutes for your notes to be restored from iCloud.

You are only able to sync the notes that you have in iCloud. Since you are not able to see notes in iCloud from the last 4 months, then it sounds like your device has quit syncing notes to iCloud 4 months ago, maybe because your iCloud storage was full. I have not seen any reports of the update removing any data from iCloud. The steps to re-sync the iCloud notes have worked for all you have asked, but if the data is not in iCloud, they will not be able to be synced to your device.

Same! I have a SE 1st gen (yes, I'm literally getting a new iphone on Black Friday in 2 weeks) and ALL of my notes are gone on my phone. iOS 15.8.3 (latest compatible with this phone) does not have a "Sync this iPhone" option. I'm concerned about turning off then on Notes in iCloud settings. Any advice is much appreciated

I tried it a few times, I only got partial notes from icloud.

Most of my important notes from last 4 months got vanished, it's not in icloud and everything I had on the iphone got replaced with what's in icloud now after agreeing to the new terms and conditions.

Since my icloud storage is full, it may be not syncing all the time, now the vanished notes are neither in icloud and not able to recover from iphone as well (I checked the recently deleted folder as well).

Do you have any other suggestion to get back notes in this case.
