I have the Apple TV app on my LG Smart TV. After watching a couple of episodes of Shrinking the next episode won't load. Netflix, Stan, Disney... all other apps work just not Apple TV. Any suggestions?

So, does that action of playing a bit on iPhone make that episode also appear in ‘Continue Watching’ (formerly ‘Up Next’) in the Apple TV app on the smart TV? Can you successfully continue watching there?

At which episode are you? The latest released episode is S02 E05. Newer episodes will get released in a weekly schedule, on Wednesdays. So, S02 E06 or later wouldn’t be accessible yet.
I’m up to S01 ep 9 but it’s been happening since the beginning so I turn it off for the day then start again the next day.
What happens if you start an episode for a few seconds on a different device? Can you then continue on the smart TV?
