iPhone can't connect to iTunes

I have the same cable, with which I could operate with iPhone 15Pro ( original cable which came with phone ), but with that same cable - I can't make iTunes see my new phone ( 15ProMax ).

I have tried with cable that came in package of pro max and tried with cable that used to work with 15Pro...nothing...Phone asks for trust, Windows sees it as storage, but iTunes stays dead for phone...

Only way it can communicate with phone is usb A-C. Everything is latest installed ( iOS, iTunes, Win updates )

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 18

1. Use a USB-A to USB-C Cable:

• Many users have found that iTunes recognises the iPhone 15 Pro Max when using a USB-A to USB-C cable instead of a USB-C to USB-C cable.

• While this may limit data transfer speeds, it can help establish a connection with iTunes.

2. Update iTunes:

• Ensure you’re using the latest version of iTunes.

• If you installed iTunes from the Microsoft Store, open the Store, go to Library, and click Get Updates.

• If you downloaded iTunes from Apple’s website, open iTunes, go to Help > Check for Updates.

3. Restart Apple Mobile Device Service (AMDS):

• Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

• In the Services window, locate Apple Mobile Device Service.

• Right-click it, select Restart, and then reconnect your iPhone.

4. Trust This Computer:

• When connecting your iPhone, ensure you tap Trust on the prompt that appears on your device.

• If you don’t see the prompt, try resetting your location and privacy settings:

• Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy.

5. Check USB Ports and Cables:

• Try connecting your iPhone to different USB ports on your computer.

• Test with another USB-C to USB-C cable, preferably one that supports data transfer.

• Ensure the cable is MFi (Made for iPhone) certified.

6. Update Windows and Drivers:

• Ensure your Windows operating system is up to date.

• Update your computer’s USB drivers:

• Press Win + X and select Device Manager.

• Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers, right-click each entry, and select Update driver.

7. Use the Apple Devices App:

• Apple has introduced the Apple Devices app for Windows, which can manage your iPhone.

• Download it from the Microsoft Store and see if it recognises your iPhone.

8. Contact Apple Support:

• If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Apple Support for further assistance.
