Tamil T99 keyboard issues on iPad m2

I have installed the Tamil99 keyboard in my iPad. I am able to type on the screen keyboard. However, I am not able type on the Logitech keyboard which I bought as a combo package. I was told that some sort of keyboard mapping needs to be done. How can this issue be resolved?

Go to settings > general > keyboard > hardware keyboard and tap on Tamil. You should see a list of mappings. Make sure tamil99 is checked there.
