Notes Recently Deleted Folder is gone

iCloud Notes folder has disappeared and don’t have a Recently Deleted Folder. I didn’t make any changes to my settings and not sure if there were any recent software updates.

Notes Missing after turning on iCloud on Mac This morning i turned on the iCloud option for notes. It asked "sync to mac" and I turned the toggle to the right. Immediately after I opened the notes application. It was empty. After a while old notes that i must have synced some time ago to this apple ID reappeared but all my recent notes (over 6 months) are gone :(. The on my Mac folder is empty and there are no recently deleted files. What can i do to recover the files? There are many important notes there.

Apple Notes I went to access my Notes on my iPhone 13, that is running iOS 17.2.1 and discovered all of my folders in the Notes App have disappeared, no Folders no Notes and I had back-up to iCloud on for this App.I turned-off and turned-on my iPhone and still nothing. I went to my Mac Book Pro running Ventura 13.6.3, and same thing, ALL Folders and Notes within the Folders are gone. It's as if I never used the App. I had a lot of Folders with important information. How can I recover from iCloud?

Notes just disappeared and are gone I was scrolling through my notes and it kicked me out to my folders and all but 4 notes were gone. Logged into my iCloud and looked to see if they were deleted but there was no deleted notes to recover. Does anyone know why this happened?

I just experienced the same issue. My Notes file has been deleted and there is no 'Recently Deleted' folder. Iphone SE. Right before the Notes file disappeared I clicked ACCEPT on the new Icloud storage policy.

Just looked at my Notes file and it has magically reappeared. This must have been something going on with Apple.
