Deleting Photo from Album shows it will be deleted from many more Albums than i have

I am using an Iphone 12 Mini running iOS 18.1

Today when I wanted to delete a photo entirely off my device from within an album, a message was displayed that the photo would also be deleted from 30 albums. The problem is, I only have 6 albums on my device.

I do not use any other Apple devices with the same account, have no shared albums, and do not sync photos to icloud, they are only in icloud backup for the entire phone.

Even a random photo from a few days ago that I added to an album for the first time ever as a test displayed this, but it does not seem to affect all photos, even within the same album.

I was unable to find relevant information online.

Does the Photos App count the Albums in the Iphone Backup to icloud? The current Backup had been active for 4 days, which, if each day is counted seperately, would add up to 30 albums (6 on device, 4x6 for the 4 days of backups)

I turned off and deleted my cloud backup as a test but it still shows photos being in 30 albums when i attempt to delete.
