got an epson printer L1250 and does not print with MacOS 15.1, what can I do?

I tried to install the printer with the 15x version that epson offered but after the installation is completed, it doesn't print, also the model doesn't seem to be compatible with sequoia and I'm wondering if there is a solution or if Epson will provide the proper drivers on the next update (have been trying to contact their support team but no answer yet....)

I know the printer is properly installed because I can print with my phone using either the epson printing app or IPrint. Would appreciate any advise!
