Every time I type the word “with” autocorrect changes it to “either way.” It’s driving me crazy. Same with the word “for.” It prefers the word “fir.” I’ve typed the words correctly. It isn’t until I’ve hit send that I notice it changing my text. How do I override this please? It’s been happening about 6 months at least!
If "with" always gets that, I'd wonder if "with" is already in your text replacement shortcuts:
Settings > General > Keyboards > Text Replacement
Have you tried resetting the autocorrupt dictionary?
Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary
But I've usually just disabled fully-automatic autocorruption, and restrict it to offering suggestions:
Settings > General > Keyboard > Auto-Correction > Off

Hi there! Make sure that your auto-correction is on, and if it’s on but still doesn’t work neither, try setting up a text replacement yourself on “Settings -> Keyboards -> Text Replacement” and tap on the right top of the screen where there’s a + sign. Hope that helped!
