Cannot access shared excel file in Onedrive

We have trouble updating data in an excelfile thats placed in a shared folder on Onedrive.

Folder contains of 2 text/csv files that are updateted from Multipress (application).

The data from these 2 files are shown in an excelfile and works perfect for the pc user, but if any mac users tries to open the excelfile they get this error.

Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this?

Try giving Excel “Full Disk Access” in System Settings-> Privacy & Security

I don't use OneDrive here, but unless I am misinformed, files placed on OneDrive are automatically encrypted by it and to gain unencrypted access to the files, one should have the current OneDrive application installed on the Mac side to handle that process and make the files available to Mac applications.

And also follow BobHarris' recommendation.
