How can I recover disappeared Notes on iPhone?

I literally just opened my phone today, and all my notes have disappeared. When I tried to create a new note, I could write something, and when I hit done it wouldn’t appear on the main screen. The only thing that is visible on the main screen is a “Folder” title, and the search bar (which doesn’t show any results when I search something)

my storage, both iCloud and iphone, aren’t completely full. And the notes ARE visible on my iPad, just not my phone. I already tried powering it off and on
