iPad to Apple TV subtitles
my wife suffers with hearing problems. How do I get subtitles from tv to appear via Apple Tv box.
sound and vision work fine?
any help will be helpful please

When using AirPlay, the subtitle settings of the receiving device are used, so adjust the subtitle settings there.
Change subtitle settings on Apple TV - Apple Support
For full-on closed captions (not just dialog, but also other sounds), use the Closed Captions setting instead.
Turn on closed captions and SDH - Apple Support
Of course that only works when those subtitles or captions are available in the stream, which may vary by content provider or program title.
