Purchased movie, listed languages in description not available

Before purchasing a movie from Apple TV app, I checked the description to see that both the audio and the subtitles were available in French. In fact, one of the movies is originally in French. After purchase, one movie only has audio and subtitles in English available, and the other one only has French audio and English subtitles. But, to repeat, both list French audio and subtitles in the description I read before purchase. This seems to be typical for Apple, but I don’t understand why they would pretend to offer a language and then not supply it . I have complained three times to Apple, but they don’t respond. Ever. So can anyone else explain?

oh as well: I purchased the movie from the Apple TV app, but I do not have an Apple TV. I would be playing it from my iPad. Sadly, I can’t buy any more movies from Apple because they don’t provide what they promise.
