Apple Photos Drag & Drop Scrolling Too Fast
I have hundreds of clients and each of them has their own photo album. When I create a new album and try to drag it where it belongs alphabetically, the album list scrolls almost instantly to the top or bottom of the left-hand bar no matter how careful I am when dragging to the top or bottom of the bar. A single pixel up (or down) before I get even with 10 pixels of the top (or bottom) of the left-hand bar triggers the instant scroll.
I saw a previous post back to Ventura that saw this problem, but there was no resolution. There doesn't even seem to be a modifier key I can press to slow down the scrolling. I left with having to drag within the visible left-hand bar, then scroll my album to the top or bottom depending on the direction I'm going...then drag, then scroll, then drag.... It's a REAL DRAG.
I'm on an M1 MacBook Pro running the current MacOS. This also happens on my MacBook Air M2. I've seen comments online about changing the trackpad settings in Accessibility, but none of those work.I don't really have this problem elsewhere in the OS, but then the Finder automatically sorts how I want when I drag a new item into a folder. Although Photos can do this, it's not automatic...you have to choose how you want a folder sorted every time you add an item. And if I had hundreds of folders...then there doesn't seem to be any solution.
