Samsung Easy Printer Manager

Apple blocks me from opening Samsung Easy Printer Manager! The "Open Anyway" command in Security & Privacy Prefs does not work. What can I do??

MacBook Pro Retina, late 2013; MacOS 11.7.10. Samsung XPress C 430.

Thank you for your help!

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.7

There is nothing wrong with the application as mine has worked for years. Click the Done button when confronted with this dialog:

Then visit the System Preferences/Settings Security & Privacy panel. There you will see the notice that "Samsung Easy Printer Manager" was blocked to protect your Mac. Click the Open Anyway button. When you next double-click the Samsung Easy Printer Manager app, you will likely receive this dialog:

and you click Done and follow the step above to Open DaemonManager anyway.

Now, you can double-click the Samsung Easy Printer Manager and it will launch normally. Good idea to have the printer powered before you do.

Hi VikingOSX

Thank you for you post.

When - after re-start of the Mac - I open the Manager, I get:

"ScrPrtMon.app cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verfied"

Before I can do anything, I get

"Samsung Easy Printer Manager quit unexpectedly"

(screen shot)

When I click "Re-open", I get this Terminal text:

Thank you for your answer, Rudegar, but it didn't help. The app flashes open briefly, but then there is the message "...quit unexpectedly". I think Apple has done this intentionally because they don't want me to use Samsung products. I hope there is a workaround or something, other than buying a new printer.

Your first dialog I have explained. For the second dialog try either button and then check the Security & Privacy panel to see if there is an entry to open anyway for ScrPrtMon.app. The second dialog is likely causing the third dialog, or your version of Samsung Easy Printer Manager is simply not compatible with the operating system version. Don't be running any part of this application from the Terminal…

My version of the Samsung Easy Print Manager is v1.01.79 (2014-10-20).

I open the Manager

Message "...Manager quit unexpectedly"

3 buttons: Reopen - Report...- Ignore

I click Reopen

Opens a shorter Terminal text, then a longer one

then again the same message "quit unexpectedly". No chance to chose "Open anyway".
