Printer/scanner access issues after Intego download on MacBook Air

I have been having issues with my macbook air. I thought it was a virus and did a websearch and then downloaded Intego. Now reading that many people are saying no to that. I am not computer savy and find this all very frustrating to find out what is the right thing to do. I now can't access my printer/scanner. I hate this stuff. Can any one help or advise in a easy to understand language Thank you

First you will need to uninstall Intego. It is impossible to do any troubleshooting when these programs interfere with the normal operation of your OS. Not sure which Intego package you installed, but you will need to use the installer they provide to remove it. Intego also has this information on their website for removal.

After that has been done, then describe the issue you are having with your Mac and we may be able to provide some specific steps to help with a solution.
