I recently upgraded from IOS 16 to 17.7.1 and the amount of battery drain I've gotten is insane. It's scary at this point as I miss the battery life I had before.
I'm not sure what to do now as I wish I could downgrade, but I'm not sure how. What else can I do now? Please help!

Please define “insane”. You can’t downgrade, but you can troubleshoot the problem that hundreds of millions of users who upgraded do NOT have.
If you charge your phone overnight (a best practice) and you do not have to charge during the day your phone’s energy use is normal.
I mean insane as it drains much faster than it did before. If I had a long day I'd come back home with my phone at 83%, but now it would be at 40%
I only charge overnight, but since I updated I have to charge again during the day which I've never had to do before.
