Doesn't sound good. Can you open it in the iCloud version of Numbers or in the Mac OS version?
Thank Badunit. It worked fine on a computer when I tried it after reading your reply. Looks as if it was a new privacy permissions thing to do with syncing to the cloud, from Apple - once I Accepted the new terms, the file started to work again on the iPad. Who knew?
