8th gen iPad and hearing test wit earbuds pro 2

Hi, sorry email went to junk folder -- only now reading. While a acknowledge the details in the response I would suggest that something does not add up here--- I did refer to an Ipad that , (irrespective of age), had been updated to ipad os 18.1. Nowhere does Apple refer to the facility being restricted to IPHONES. In addition since my OP I have had a long phone discussion (almost 60 minutes) with Apple Support who went through very thorough assessments of my situation/hardware/ software and related points. They have escalated to next level and are to revert. It would be unbelievable if they did not immediately seize on age of hardware to explain-- and in any case surely update 18.1 would set up flags/ alerts. And surely I am not the only or first instance worldwide with the 8th Gen Ipad problem. From earlier research hardware capable of such updating seemed to qualify. For what it is worth many are having similar problems and not all are in UK/Canada/ Australia etc where regulatory problems prevent implementation. I live in Ireland which qualifies. You may be proven correct in course, but I will advise accordingly. Thanks for input.
