How can I transfer Apple TV+ to a replacement device.

I have four or five Apple TV's. My Apple TV+ subscription is only recognised on one of them. Unfortunately this one is on the way out and will fail totally soon.


Is there a way I can seamlessly transfer the Apple TV+ Subscription to the new device without having to cancel and re-subscribe?


All are on the same account.

The subscription is in no way tied to a device, so it should work on any of your devices when signed in with the same Apple Account, or for multi-user devices: when switched to that same Apple Account.

Any account properties (watch progress, etc.) related to a subscription are saved online in iCloud, not on the device.
