how many years can you extend 2 yr applecare on iphone4

The iPhone 4 is now considered "vintage" or "obsolete" by Apple meaning that they will provide no further support or service for it, so extending AppleCare on that old phone will not be possible.

Their tag line says iPhone 14, so I'm guessing they meant that, but then I could be wrong. And yes, if an iPhone 4, there would no way to extend its warranty. I'm not even sure what anyone could possibly do with an iPhone 4 anymore. Certainly not use it to make phone calls or access many, if any modern Apps.

If your AppleCare+ plan can be extended, it's not by years, it's month to month and that would be up to Apple's discretion when it can no longer be extended. This link explains how and where plans can be extended --> Extend your AppleCare+ coverage - Apple Support

Hard to know what someone actually means when they write two different things. But I think we have it covered either way.
