My iPhone notes going blank but not deleted

To add to an old discussion that stopped without a resolution I found in the comments.

What I found is fixed it(maybe temporary) is to log into iCloud through Safari and the note reappeared within a minute. I have not logged into iCloud by web in over a year (that may be why it happened in the first place) I do not know if there is any connection or not, but I was able to get the note that had vital information back.
