Apple Configurator for Windows and Linux

Hi, since my Mac got a failure during a software update I decided to sell it for pieces as that's cheaper than taking it to a certified service center. I looked up for a solution on getting the Apple Configurator 2 on a PC but it seems there is no version to install neither on Windows or Linux. We, pro users that live in remote areas who also don't have apple stores near or friends with macbooks to borrow, need a version for either windows or linux to fix our devices.

So my question for the apple team, considering all the premiums we pay for both software and hardware goes:

¿Is there any intention at this point in time to develop a version of Apple Configurator for Windows and/or Linux?

You're not communicating with Apple when you post in the Community. Apple does not participate in these forums. We're all just fellow users, helping out as we have time and knowledge to share.

As to whether Apple will ever offer a version of Configurator for Windows or Linux systems, that's not anything anyone here will know and Apple will not say until such time as they're ready to make an announcement. Personally I doubt that they will or even can, but I have no way of knowing. You can request it via Apple's Feedback pages:

Got it, thanks for clearing that out, I'm new on apple community so I didn't knew where to make this request.

Well I'd like to add that If you're a user reading this and support repairability, please submit a feedback requesting Apple to launch a Windows & Linux Version of Apple Configurator on the following link: https://www.apple.com/feedback/

Cheers.

Thanks, that clears things up.

Well in this case, I'd like to invite you to support the initiative and request Apple to launch a Windows & Linux Version of Apple Configurator on the following link: Product Feedback - Apple

It may one day make a difference with Apple adding the support we require or it could help signaling this critial failures to support it's user's hardware & software.
