I can’t see my saved files on ipad

If I go on the files app none of the files I’ve saved show up anywhere. They show up if I start to search the title of them how we I don’t remember the name of all of them and I want to see everything that I have saved.

Why does my files folder not show all files on iPad? The Files Folder on my iPad is missing many file names. It does not show files saved by the Photos and iMovie apps? Why? How can I deal with these files if they are not in the Files Folder? It will show files created by GarageBand, but not Photos nor iMovie? What is wrong with it?

It's likely that you did not save into "on my iPad" but into one of the other locations
