Can't accept new icloud T&C on iPad pro

Ipad pro OS 17.7.1 tells me I have to accept the new icloud terms and conditions but when I hit "continue" I get an error message:

"Cannot Complete Action

This action cannot be completed at this time."

Meanwhile, I'm paying for additional icloud space and can't use it. Not happy >:(

I'm seeing a few users having the same issue but I haven't found a clear solution yet. Do you have another Apple device (iPhone, for instance) on which you could accept the T&C? You could also try to go to iCloud.com to see if it would trigger the acceptance of the T&C.
