Could you recommend the best practices about how I should charge my new AirPods Pro 2 for the first time? Pods inside the case or out, use before first charge etc.

There is no specific process.
Charge them when it is convenient to do so for however long it's convenient to do so.
You can charge the case without the AirPods, or with them inside, it does not matter.
