icloud memory problem macos

Hello everyone, I have a problem with the memory between icloud and the local one of my macbook.

In the icloud settings I have set that both emails and photos must be uploaded to iCloud, in fact on my iphone 14 pro I have no problem, the physical memory of the phone is free, instead on my mac despite the setting I see that emails and photos occupy 1.5gb (photos) and 1.99gb (emails), but I want this memory to be freed and the contents to go to icloud, I don't understand where the problem is. (The photo shows the local space occupied on the Macbook)

The next photo shows the space occupied by the mail app on iCloud

While I'm here I ask how I can reduce the GB occupied by system data? It seems ABSURD to me 50 GB occupied.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 15.0

When you enable sync with iCloud, you are not offloading items to iCloud only but rather using iCloud to sync your content amongst all of your devices. If you wish to free up space enable optimization for files (on your Mac) and photos (Settings > photos).

You cannot manage system storage, your device will handle that automatically.
