GoDaddy email account not syncing with Mail App

I have two personal domain email accounts with GoDaddy that I use with Apple mail. One of them would not send email, only receive and kept giving me this error message: "Connections to host outlook.office365.com on the default ports failed." The other works fine.


I deleted the account and readded it. In fact I did both of them. The second one still works fine. Now the first one seems to send email just fine, but won't receive any. In fact, it won't even sync up the emails that are on the server. This same email account works fine on my iPhone, my iPad, on a browser and in Microsoft Outlook.


GoDaddy kept wanting me to uninstall Mail. When I convinced them that wasn't possible, they wanted server settings (port #s, etc). That didn't go anywhere either.


So, now I can send email from account 1, but no email will download.

So turns out that when I was adding the account from Microsoft Exchange, I chose "personal" instead of "business". They had me log in via a browser to my account and then logged in via "business" and voila! Hope this helps :)
