I've tried multiple times, it is able to capture the picture of the ID with no problems and one or two of the movements will be captured before it says cannot capture movements, starting over. What's the trick to getting this to work?

Try doing it outside in the shade. The biggest reason for the facial scan to fail is not enough light.,
