OS not focusing default browser when opening links from Slack

Normally when I click on a link in Slack the OS switches focus to the desktop where the default browser is open. This stopped working with Arc. I tested setting default browser to different browsers. If the browser isn't open, the OS will open it and then switch focus to the desktop with it open. However, subsequent link clickx in Slack does not switch the focus, even though the links are opened in the default browser.

The only default browser that the auto focus works every time is Chrome.

How do I resolve this so that the OS switches focus to the desktop with the default browser regardless of browser?

Also dealing with this problem for both safari and Firefox. It seems that it's just Slack that doesn't automatically focus to the browser. Notes, Mail, Outlook, and OneNote all properly open and focus on the default browser.
