I have just recently updated my FCPX to the new FCP 11 and i have a MBP 2019 Intel macos Sequoia. It seems everything about the new update for FCP 11 is operable except the transcribing to captions feature. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this a compatibility issue with the update and my macbook?

The automatic transcription relies on "Apple Intelligence", and thus only works in Apple Silicon Macs.

That makes sense thanks for letting me know. At least theres work arounds. For anyone needing it i would recommend transcriber on fxfactory and importing to fcp after. Thank god the other updates work though. Appreciate the info.
Or DR Studio, may not be suitable for everyone. iPad version is much cheaper, full function and I occasionally used to do transcribe, way before FCP 11 added this feature. Nonetheless, FCP users might not use DR.
Not sure about FCP / Apple Intelligence, DR Studio can handle multiple languages, but likely will have mistakes, best to run through and check every time.
Is FCP 11 update compatible with MBP intel 2019?
