AGAIN?! - Recent MS Word Run Time 53 Error

Resolved years ago and is now occurring again? Have removed the library files typically indicated and gone into tools in Word to uncheck the add-in. On start up it is checked again - though the file remains removed from Library. Cannot delete through tools as the "-" button is greyed out. Have further checked Adobe and Office support files in Library - nothing there to remove in the way of add ins. Thoughts? Anyone else having recent problems and know of a fix?

macOS Sierra is no longer supported. The version(s) of MS Word that will run on Sierra are no longer supported by Microsoft.

You might check Microsoft’s support forums to see if anyone has anything to say about it, but you’re not going to be able to get official support for it. Microsoft terminated support for the versions of office that will run on Sierra years ago.

Ahhh. Ok. What version of office? Is it a standalone install or 365 subscription?

If you have a 365 subscription, I strongly recommend you remove the apps downloaded and installed from Microsoft and install the versions available in the App Store instead. I’ve had very few problems with those
