Forgot BIOS password, Entered Target Boot Mode from Within MacOS. Now Softlocked at BIOS Password Screen

I wanted to boot from a USB drive but had forgotten the BIOS password, so I entered Target Disk Mode from macOS on my 2015 MacBook Pro 15" hoping it wouldn't require the password like when rebooting and holding the key combination. Now it enters Target Disk Mode on every boot, locking me at the password entry.

Steps I’ve tried:

- Repeatedly restarting the Mac (returns to the password screen).

- Resetting the SMC and NVRAM (no effect).

Any suggestions to regain access or reset the firmware password?

Forgotten BIOS Password:

If you you have forgotten this password, and you have no where to recover from (i.e. password journal), then you are out of luck.
