Seems, with iOS 18.1, new hearing-aid features became available in those countries where authorities similar to the TGA in USA have already given approval.

You can check if your country is listed for the:

• Hearing Test feature
• Hearing Aid feature
• Hearing Protection feature (This feature is only available in USA and Canada)

Note: Seems those with "mild to moderate" hearing loss tests will be eligible to use the new features.
