Has been working fine up until now, trying to order from Smyths website. I’ve checked all the the previous steps and advice given in past threads of same nature - address is exactly the same in my wallet etc. Can’t figure it out.
What device are you using, iPhone, iPad, Mac etc.? Are you on a website or using a mobile app? Are the devices using the latest OS versions? If using an App is it updated to the newest version available? If website, what browser are you using? Do you use a VPN? If so try turning it off and restarting your device.
No, Apple has an app on your iPhone called Contacts. The app has a contact card labeled >Me< that is for your information. Apple Pay may look to your Me card to confirm the merchant has the correct address.
OK, check these three locations please;
Each card also has an address associated with the account. Please follow this path;
iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > tap card to edit > tap Billing address > tap edit (upper right corner of screen) edit necessary changes
iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Shipping Address (edit or delete address
iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction Defaults (scroll down) > Shipping Address > Edit (upper right corner of screen) > either Enter New Shipping Address, add new address or edit/delete addresses
Using iPhone 14 on Smyths webpage on safari. Everything is up to date. Works fine on other sites. Seems odd
Have you checked the address for your >ME< card in the Apple Contacts app? Does the addresses match and is it labeled correctly as home, work etc.?
Not sure what you mean by the contacts app? My contacts app doesn’t have anywhere for card addresses. If you mean within Apple ID payments and shipping, that all matches
Oh I see it now. Address matches as do the others. 🤷🏼♀️
Already did this after reading this advice on similar threads and they all
match and are correct. It’s very frustrating
It sounds like a merchant issue. Is any other online checkout with Apple Pay have the same issue?
