some messages aren't being added on my MacBook airing I'm logged into iCloud.

You need to explicitly enable iCloud for Messages: Set up iCloud for Messages on all your devices - Apple Support
I have already done this and that’s why I was hoping for something else that someone knows of that could help, thanks anyway.
